Inghams Enterprises (NZ) Pty Limited is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Australian company Inghams Enterprises Pty Limited. We’ve been operating as a fully integrated chicken company in New Zealand since 1990 when Inghams purchased the complete operations of Harvey Farms. This acquisition established Inghams as a comprehensive operator and chicken producer in New Zealand and as the second largest player in the New Zealand poultry market.

Based in the Waikato region, Inghams employs approximately 1000 people. We run a fully integrated business - from feed milling to chicken farming, processing and distribution of chickens and chicken products.

Inghams supplies a broad range of fresh and frozen chicken products, including marinated/ seasoned and crumbed, coated and glazed chicken. Our products are supplied to retail, food service and quick service restaurants nationwide.

Inghams Enterprises Pty Ltd is a well known, reputable company and one of Australia’s largest poultry production businesses, encompassing all facets of the chicken and poultry industry.

The company was originally founded at Casula in New South Wales by Walter Ingham in 1918. After the sudden death of Walter at the young age of 51, the business was inherited in 1953 by his two sons; the late Jack Ingham (who died on 5 August 2003) and Bob Ingham, who is the now the Chairman and sole owner of the company.

Poultry production remains the core business of the corporation and today Inghams has become one of the largest producers of meat chickens and turkeys in Australia.
